How It Started

Reach Creations started with a passion of graphic arts and the design world. I attended the DCMO BOCES Visual Communications (Graphic Design) program during high school. There I learned the basics of design and design programs which ultimately led to finding my niche in life: Graphic Design. From BOCES my love and passion for graphic design (and my design skills) grew.

While still in high school and attending BOCES, I took on several freelance jobs including a brochure for the University of Maryland's Retired Senior and Volunteer Program, multimedia presentations of church events at New Hope Community Church, Grand Opening Posters for Avalon Moon in Delhi, NY, and other jobs.

After graduationing from BOCES and high school, I moved on to college at Mohawk Valley Community College. While attending MVCC, the passion I had for graphic design dramatically changed: it grew ten-fold.
I worked for the Events Office on campus where I ended up designing posters, ads and even the Cultural Series logo. That job led me to many others outside of campus. Some of the jobs included designing logos, signs, promotional postcards and other business media.

In class at MVCC, I worked my tail off at being the best. Challenging myself (and sometimes the instructors), I prevailed as one of the top students of my class. Even in class, I was making an impact on the local area: through a live job in class, I designed the current logo for the city of Utica, New York. The huge honor of creating a logo for a city popluated by over 60,000 people was a wake up call that great things are about to happen.

This page will end up growing a bit more until I finish my second (and last) college. Currently I'm attending the Art Institute of Phoenix in the great state of Arizona. There I will recieve my bachelors in Graphic Design. After that, the sky's the limit!
